I'm sure there is but I can't remember right now :( I really don't like this place either. I'll keep my site here for Picture Perfect but nothing else. http://riete-riete.blogspot.nl/
I want to know the answer to this too, but it's probably something simple. I'm constantly pressing Ctrl +. An early happy birthday to ya. I'll post something in your GB on MP tomorrow.
Think I may have found out how to change size of fonts. At the top of your page you see Design. Click on it. Then click on Template and then Customize below the thumbnail of your blog template. I saw 14x and name of font. I changed it to 20 I think. Hope this is right.
Yes, you can change the font and the type size. Are you blogging in Blogger, or in Google+? Write in Blogger, and the commands for fonts, size, and color are all right there at the top of your page. That's easier than trying to change the template, I think.
I always go to design (top right hand corner of your blog page), then I click on "customize", then "advance" and then a list will come up of what you want to change. Select "Page Text" to edit the font size and style.
